Per Bertilsson has spent his professional life working internationally, motivated by the dual goals of safe-guarding the environment and reducing poverty and inequality. He has gradually realised that these goals cannot be fully achieved unless we adopt a spiritual perspective and promote universal ethics that can be shared by people with or without faith, which is essential to address the current challenges faced globally and in the West. He writes books, stages exhibitions, holds book circles, gives talks on mindfulness and socio-political issues and leads an activist group promoting universal ethics.
